1 Who we are

This policy explains how GramMitra Connect LLP ("GramMitra Connect", "we") uses your personal information when you book a service, register as a service provider or contact us. Our registered office and contact details are at the end of this page.

2 What we collect

• Your WhatsApp number, and your name if you share it.
• Your booking details: the service, village, date and time, the work you describe and any location you choose to share.
• The messages you send us on WhatsApp, and a written record (transcript) of WhatsApp calls with our voice assistant, so that we can carry out your request and resolve problems.
• For service providers: the registration details collected by our field agents.

3 Why we use it

• To arrange your booking with a suitable local provider and keep you updated.
• To give you help and handle complaints.
• To keep the service safe, prevent misuse and improve it.
• To meet our legal obligations.

4 Your consent

Before we arrange a booking, we ask for your consent in the WhatsApp chat or on the WhatsApp call. If you do not agree, we cannot arrange the service. You can withdraw your consent at any time — see "Your choices and rights" below.

5 Who we share it with

• The provider appointed to your booking receives your name, number and service location so they can do the work.
• Providers who are only checking whether they are free see the village and the work, not your number or exact location.
• Technology companies that help us run WhatsApp messaging, WhatsApp calls and our servers, only for that purpose.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• We do not sell your personal information.

6 How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and only people who need it for their work can see it.

7 Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent. See the "Your data requests" page for how to ask.

9 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date.
